Item 1. Select the "Play" button (right arrow) to start the audio streaming. Item 2. Grab the slider with your mouse to adjust the volume level. Item 3. Select the word "Outline" to hide the Outline pane and give you a better view. Item 4. Select the "arrow" to navigate to the next slide. You may also want to select the word "Slide Show" to open the Slide Show in a new full screen window. If you choose this option, you will need to manually click your mouse on the screen to move to the next items or slide.

MEDIA PLAYER (AUDIO)
The audio player on this page uses the Microsoft Windows Media player.

If you do not have the player on your computer, it is available as a FREE download on the Microsoft website. You can obtain the player, by clicking here for Windows or here for Macintosh. .

It also requires ActiveX to be enabled. If the audio will not start when you select the "Play" button, check the top of the page for a yellow box or message that contains a warning about allowing scripts or ActiveX controls. To enable this feature, right click on the message and select "Run ActiveX Control". You may need to do this more than one time, depending on how your browser is currently configured.

Discussion Topic: Possible Police Department in Orange Cove

On February 19, 2009, a town hall meeting was held to discuss the feasibility of having a Police Department in Orange Cove. The event which was presented by City of Huron, Police Chief Frank Steenport and Irene Fernandez focused on the cost of operating, developing and maintaining a post certified Police Department for the City Of Orange Cove. Listed below are two items related to the town hall event. The first is the audio recording from the meeting and the next is the PowerPoint presentation that was shown at the event. We suggest that you start the audio streaming by selecting the "Play" or "Arrow" button and then follow through the slides of the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation by selecting "right arrow", located at the bottom right.
