The City of Orange Cove operates a full-time Police Department, which consists of one Chief of Police, one Sergeant, one Corporal, two School Resource Officer, six patrol officers, one K-9 officer, four Level One Reserve Officers, one Records Supervisor and one part-time Records Clerk. one Evidence Technician/ Records Clerk (currently vacant)

The Orange Cove Police Department also has a Police Explorer Program in conjunction with the Probation Department, Boy Scouts of America, and Kings Canyon Unified Schools.

The Police Department Fleet consists of Black & White Patrol Units, a K-9 Unit and one Special Services Unit.

The Police Department also supports the Orange Cove Citizen’s on Patrol (OCCP) as part of the Neighborhood Watch Program, and provides them a vehicle for patrol duties.
